SA trio rescued from nightclub roof after night on the town

Three men required assistance from emergency services after becoming trapped in a questionable location.

A night on the town has ended in a questionable way for three South Australian men, after they were left stranded on a nightclub roof.

At 4:30am on Sunday, police were called to Hindley Street, Adelaide’s main night-life strip, after the trio became stuck after scaling the side of the building.

Police said two men were stuck on the first storey roof of The Woolshed nightclub, while the third was stranded on the roof of the building’s veranda two floors up.

They had no visible means of getting back to ground level.

SA Police requested the help of the MFS, who safely brought all three men down on a cherry picker.

The men, from popular SA tourist destination Kangaroo Island, were given adult cautions for unlawfully being on the premises and breaching barring orders.
