Noarlunga, Adelaide: Man hospitalised after being shot in leg
A man has been hospitalised with a single gunshot wound, and police believe it wasn’t a random attack.
A man has been hospitalised after he was shot in the leg in Adelaide’s southern suburbs.
A SA Police investigation into the shooting began after the Glenelg North man, 39, presented to Noarlunga Hospital with a single gunshot wound on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers from the Southern District CIB were called to the hospital where they spoke with the man before he went into surgery.
His injury is not considered to be life threatening.
“Police do not believe it was a random attack,” SA Police said in a statement.
As the investigation continues, police are urging anyone with dashcam vision of The Esplanade between Beach Rd at Christies Beach and Castleton Ave at Port Noarlunga around 2pm and 2.30pm on Wednesday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report it online.
