Man killed in Adelaide shopping centre stabbing

WITNESSES say knife attacker fled with a woman and a baby in a pram after stabbing 25-year-old in the stomach.

A man has died from his injuries after being stabbed in Adelaide’s north on Thrursday evening.

Security at the Elizabeth Shopping Centre were already on the scene providing emergency first aid and CPR, before paramedics treated the man, the Adelaide Advertiser reports.

The 25-year-old from Blakeview was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital but died within hours.

Witnesses say the suspect fled the scene on foot, in company with a woman pushing a pram with an infant child.

The suspect is described as a man of caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s with a slim build, between 170cm and 180cm tall, short brown hair and blue eyes.
