Hungry Jacks hit and run: woman dies in hospital from injuries after car crash
A woman has died in hospital after a horror hit and run incident outside a fast food restaurant.
Police have launched a fresh appeal for information following the death of a woman in hospital, weeks after she was struck by a car outside of a Hungry Jack’s in Adelaide.
South Australia Police said the car fled the scene, with authorities so far unable to track down the driver.
The crash occurred in the carpark of the Hungry Jacks on the corner of Grote St and West Terrace about 6:15am on Friday March 4.
The woman, 56 and from Ascot Park, was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital, however she died from her injuries on March 30.
Major Crash Officers have urged anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact police.
