Glenelg drink-driver allegedly six times over limit
A drink-driver who allegedly blew six times over the legal limit after crashing her car will front court.
A woman who was six times over the legal alcohol limit will front court after allegedly crashing a car and fleeing the scene.
SA Police say the driver of the Subaru sedan, 35, left the scene of a crash in Glenelg South on Wednesday.
Officers were called to the scene about 3.30pm following reports of a hit and run and found the car stopped on Maroong Avenue.
The woman was breath tested and allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.315.
Police allege she crashed into a Toyota sedan, which was parked nearby on Farrell Street, before witnesses reported the Subaru driving off.
The Glenelg woman has lost her licence for a year, and her car was towed from the scene.
She was also reported for drink-driving, driving without due care and leaving the scene of a crash.
She will appear in court at a later date.
