Adelaide man charged after woman’s body found inside backyard shed
A woman has been found dead in a backyard shed while a younger man has been charged with murder.
A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found inside a shed in the Adelaide Hills.
Police were called to a home in Crafers West on Friday afternoon for a welfare check.
When detectives arrived they found the body of a 62-year-old woman in the backyard shed.
Major crime and forensic investigators were called to the scene before a 36-year-old man was arrested at the property.
The man and woman were known to each other, police said.
The accused was charged with murder.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
