Ray Hadley’s foul-mouthed rant at Anthony Albanese

The famed radio broadcaster had to be censored after erupting at the prime minister and other ministers over immigration.

Asylum seekers in Northern WA is ‘more than just bad luck’

2GB stalwart Ray Hadley had to be censored on his own program after lambasting Anthony Albanese and other ministers in a fiery rant.

On Monday morning, the 2GB host lashed out at Mr Albanese, Immigration Minister Andrew Giles, Energy Minister Chris Bowen and Industrial Relations Minister Tony Burke.

He labelled them “Casanovas” because “absolutely everything this mob touch mob touch they completely and utterly f**k up”.

“That’s what they do to the country,’ he said “And if I sound frustrated, I am, I’ve sat through this before.

Hadley’s rant was sparked by news that 30 illegal immigrants had arrived on a West Australian beach with Mr Albanese saying at a press conference on Friday he “hadn’t been advised about that”.

“The person in charge of the country, the leader of the nation is unaware and not smart enough to smother it by saying look I’m taking advice on that,” Hadley said.

“Labor governments are no good at protecting our borders.

“They love illegal refugees because once they’ve let them in, they’re voters for life. They’ve got the unions and illegal refugees making sure they stay in government.”

Hadley claimed Labor’s “tinkering” with Operation Sovereign Borders had seen increased activity from Indonesian people smugglers.

“Just like Kevin Rudd, Anthony Albanese got rid of the Temporary Protection Visas (TPVs) which were a very important part of operation borders,” he said.

“And guess what here we go again, over and over.”

Hadley also lashed Mr Bowen for the new emissions reduction plan and Mr Burke for pushing through legislation that allows workers the “right to disconnect” from bosses after hours.

More than 40 asylum seekers were found roaming in remote Western Australia on Friday.

According to NCA NewsWire, a single boat carrying the asylum seekers hit the shores of northwestern WA on Friday, with a large group of 30 and a smaller group of 13 splitting off to wander the remote coastline looking for shelter.

Locals discovered the asylum seekers, who are believed to come from Pakistan, Bangladesh and India, at Beagle Bay, about 100km north of Broome, and at Pender Bay, about 51km north of Beagle Bay.

It is not clear why the men split up and wandered apart after hitting the shore.

It is also understood the men have now been relocated to Nauru, where Australia runs an offshore immigration detention centre.

The Australian Border Force confirmed on Friday it was undertaking an operation in northern Western Australia following reports more than 20 people had arrived by boat.

Nationals Leader David Littleproud on Sunday said the government’s alleged failure to anticipate and plan for the High Court striking down indefinite detention and the sudden release of 149 detainees from had incentivised the law-breaking.

“The damage is already done,” he told Weekend Today.

“You don’t get on a boat unless you’ve got something to sell these people,” Mr Littleproud said.

On Friday, Mr Albanese told reporters he had no information about the discovery of the first group of men.

“I’ve been travelling in the car, so I haven’t been advised about that,” he said.

“But our policies are clear, which is that boats that arrive in that fashion … we have policies in place that ensure they are dealt with.”
