Woman stabbed to death in ‘graphic scene’
POLICE have discovered a woman in her 20s dead in a Queensland driveway with multiple stab wounds.
A WOMAN in her 20s has been killed in what emergency workers described as a “very graphic” stabbing north of Brisbane.
Police were called to a Kippa-Ring address about 10.30 last night after reports of a disturbance.
On arrival, officers discovered woman in the driveway with what appeared to be stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Paramedics were called to the scene, with one telling the Nine Network it was a “very graphic scene”.
A man, aged 35, was taken into custody at the scene and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
He has been charged with murder and is expected to have a bedside hearing in hospital this morning.
