Toddler dies on the Gold Coast after being pulled from Elanora swimming pool

Emergency services were called after a one-year-old was found in a swimming pool on the Gold Coast.

A one-year-old has died a day after being pulled from a swimming pool on the Gold Coast.

Emergency services were called after reports a toddler was found in a pool at a unit complex in Elanora, on the Gold Coast, at 4.20pm on Saturday.

The child was taken to Robina Hospital in a critical condition.

Queensland Police have since confirmed the toddler has since died.

Queensland Police said a report will be prepared for the coroner with the death not being treated as suspicious.
