Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a young Logan mother and her one-year-old son who have disappeared.

Tahlia Storm, 26, last made contact with her family on July 9 and has not been heard from since. She was reported missing this week.

Police believe Tahlia and her son may be in the Logan or Toowoomba area.

Concerns are held due to the woman’s welfare and age of the child, with the disappearance also being out of character.

Tahlia is described as caucasian, about 160cm tall, with red hair and blue eyes.
