Search for girl, 11, enters third day after disappearance

The search for a girl who disappeared without a trace has entered its third day.

An urgent search is underway for an 11-year-old girl who went missing three days ago.

The girl was last seen in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast on Monday afternoon.

She has not been heard from or seen since, with both family and police holding grave concerns for her welfare.

She has been described as caucasian and about 160cm tall with light brown hair.

Queensland Police believe the girl is still in the Gold Coast and are appealing to any members of the public with information to come forward.
