‘Urgent’: Queensland Police plea to help find missing 9-year-old girl

Police have issued a plea for ‘urgent public assistance’ to help find a 9-year-old girl who went missing wearing a nightgown in Queensland.

Queensland Police have issued a plea for “urgent public assistance” to locate a nine-year-old girl reported missing from Ipswich on Saturday morning.

The child was last seen shortly after 7am at a Workshops Street house in Brassall, west of Brisbane, and hasn’t been in contact with family since.

Police said there was concern for the girl given her age and revealed she may now be in the Miles area.

She was last seen wearing a nightgown.

“The girl is described as being caucasian in appearance and brown hair,” Queensland Police Service said in a statement on Saturday afternoon.

“She was last seen wearing a grey coloured nightgown with dogs on it.

“She may be travelling in a 2008 grey Ford Mondeo with Queensland registration 922AN4.”

Anyone with information or knows her whereabouts is being urged to contact police on 131 444.
