A trendy Sunshine Coast Asian restaurant and a number of transport routes have been listed as new exposure sites visited by a Covid-positive case, health authorities have confirmed.
Queensland recorded three new cases overnight, one of which was locally acquired.
Acting Premier Steven Miles confirmed the woman, who is in her 20s and from Mareeba in the state’s north, had been infectious in the community from July 15-17.
Mr Miles said the woman was fully vaccinated.
The woman had flown into the Sunshine Coast from Melbourne on July 13 but immediately got tested after she was informed she had visited a Tier 1 exposure site in Victoria.
Chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young said the woman tested negative before visiting several locations in the Sunshine Coast.
