Toddler airlifted to Bundaberg hospital after snake bite
A young girl has been flown to hospital after she was bitten by a snake at home in the North Burnett Region.
A toddler has been flown to hospital after being bitten by a snake in a terrifying incident.
The snake bit the girl in the backyard of her Burnett Heads home near Bundaberg about 7am on Monday.
It is understood the girl’s screams were heard by her mother who snapped into action.
The mother called the paramedics after she saw the puncture wound on her daughter’s foot.
The little girl was flown by a Bundaberg-based RACQ rescue helicopter to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition, accompanied by her father.
