Multiple crashes on Queensland roads have left six people in hospital including one fighting for his life after a horror day.

Six people are being treated in hospital – with one young motorcyclist in a critical condition – after a horror day on Queensland roads.

A young motorcyclist is fighting for life in hospital after a dangerous crash on the Warrego Highway in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The man in his 20s collided with another motorbike after merging onto the Ipswich Motorway at Riverview in the southwest suburbs of Brisbane around 7.40am.

He is being treated for severe abdominal and chest injuries at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

All eastbound lanes were blocked following the horrific crash but have since been cleared.

Another crash that occurred in the remote suburb of Delaneys Creek has put another motorcyclist in hospital in a serious condition.

Paramedics attended the scene on Mount Mee Road around 9.24am and rushed the man to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

The man in his 40s suffered internal injuries during the single-vehicle crash.

The road was closed in both directions and police were on the scene working to clear the motorcycle just after midday.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are on the scene of a third crash, again on the Warrego Highway.

Four people were involved in the two-vehicle crash on the corner of Niemeyer Road and Warrego Highway eastbound just after 11am.

All four are in a stable condition and are being treated at Ipswich Hospital.
