Teen escapes Sunshine Coast campsite after allegedly being held against his will for days

Three people, including a young girl, have been charged after they allegedly tied up and kept a teenager hostage at a campsite for days.

Three people, including a 16-year-old girl, have been charged with keeping a man prisoner and assaulting him on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Police said a 19-year-old man was restrained by the trio at a campsite in bushland at Eenie Creek in Noosaville for two days where he was repeatedly assaulted resulting in injuries to his face, arms, legs and feet.

They also allegedly threatened to kill him.

At about 5am Sunday morning, the man managed to escape and flagged down a passing car.

The driver took him to Noosa Hospital where doctors treated him for injuries to his whole body.

Two men and the girl have been charged with deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm.

The 16-year-old girl was charged with deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm.

A 19-year-old man was charged with deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm while a 48-year-old man has been charged with deprivation of liberty, assault occasioning bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing tainted property.

The two men will appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday.
