A man is fighting for life in hospital after a horror ride-on mower incident.
Queensland Ambulance Services were called following reports a man riding a mower was significantly injured at a property in Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast shortly before 2.30pm on Friday
The man, believed to be in his 80s, suffered potentially life-threatening head injuries after plummeting about 4m over an embankment on a property.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed the man was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
A Queensland Health spokesperson said the man remains in hospital in “serious” condition on Saturday morning following the incident.
