Man flown to Toowoomba Hospital after serious chainsaw incident

A man has been flown to hospital with significant abdominal injuries after a horror chainsaw incident on a Queensland rural property.

A Queensland man has been rushed to hospital with significant abdominal injuries following a horror chainsaw incident.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman told NCA NewsWire a man in his 70s was flown to Toowoomba Hospital following the incident at a private rural property at Allora.

Emergency crews were called to the Southern Downs Region property about 9.30am on Thursday after.

It’s understood the man was using the chainsaw on the property when the accident occurred, causing serious abdominal trauma.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight medical team, including a critical care doctor, flew the man to Toowoomba Hospital.

He is being treated in a serious but stable condition.
