Man dies after getting stuck in the mud off Logan boat ramp
A man in his 30s has died after he became “stuck in the mud” off a boat ramp in an Australian suburb.
A man has died after becoming stuck in the mud off a boat ramp in suburban Brisbane.
Police and paramedics were called to the Logan Boat Ramp southeast of Brisbane at 12:30am on Friday morning, following reports a man was stuck in the mud.
Crews worked to free the 34-year-old man, who police confirmed had suffered a medical episode after getting stuck.
Despite receiving treatment after he was freed and taken to shore, the man from Tanah Merah died in Logan Hospital shortly after the incident occurred.
Police investigations into the death are ongoing.
