Wild security footage has captured the moment a Queensland woman in her nightgown confronted an intruder who was allegedly attempting to steal her car, yelling at him to “get the f*** out”.

Mandy Grace woke up to her dog barking on Sunday night and discovered a man was sitting in the front seat of her car outside her Mackay home.

The man had reportedly forced his way into her home through a window and stolen her car keys.

Ms Grace called police before storming outside in her nightgown to confront the man.

“Get out of my car now!” she can be heard saying in security footage shared by 7News.

“Get out of my car, c*** … Get out, c***!”

“Get out! Get out! Get you, you m***********!

“Get the f*** out!”

The man is heard yelling “I will” after he was unable to start the car.

Ms Grace then ran back inside to grab a knife before the intruder fled the scene.

Speaking to Sunrise on Friday about the incident, Ms Grace described the moment as an “out of body experience”.

“When I see the video, I don’t recognise myself. I suppose I had that much adrenaline going through me. It’s just like fight or flight,” she said.

She said he had “worked hard” to afford her belongings. .

“I wasn’t going to let some reckless, careless little kid take that away.”

The intruders have not been caught by police.
