Queensland has recorded zero new locally acquired Covid-19 cases on Saturday.

There were also no cases identified in hotel quarantine.

The news comes after 14,382 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.

There remains 21 active cases.

On Friday, only one case of community transmission was identified, while two infections were reported in returned travellers in hotel quarantine.

Health authorities updated the exposure list that now includes six flights between Brisbane, Longreach, Gladstone and Hervey Bay last week after Friday’s case — a flight attendant aged in her 30s — tested positive with the Delta strain.

The Koi restaurant at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast was also added to the list.

Chief health officer Jeanette Young urged all residents in the remote communities to get tested so her team could determine where the infection came from.
