Six Queensland Fire and Rescue (QFD) crews were called to the scene, where they discovered the roof of the property had partially collapsed.

NewsWire understands the house slid sideways off its stilts, causing the veranda to collapse.

A woman aged in her 80s was inside the property at the time of the collapse and was treated by paramedics at the scene.

She reported minor injuries as a result of the incident and did not require transportation to hospital.

No one else was inside the property at the time of the collapse.

A QFD spokesperson said the collapse triggered a gas leak, which is being treated by a third-party gas company.
