Missing man: Rory Lane, 26, disappears on walk in Lamington National Park
Queensland police have launched a search-and-rescue operation to locate a missing man in a Scenic Rim national park.
Queensland police have launched a search and rescue operation to locate missing 26-year-old man Rory Lane in Lamington National Park.
Mr Lane was walking with a friend along West Canungra Creek Circuit around 4.45pm on Sunday when the pair became separated, and he has not been seen or heard from since.
Police search and rescue co-ordinators along with Polair, the Rescue 500 helicopter, SES and QFES personally conducted a large-scale search of the Lamington National Park on Sunday.
Anyone who visited the Lamington National Park over the weekend, specifically anyone who walked the West Canungra Creek Circuit and may have seen Mr Lane is urged to come forward.
Rory is described as caucasian, approximately 175cm tall with dark brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a grey jumped and a backpack.

Search efforts will resume on Monday.
