Man’s body found in overturned car in far-north Queensland
The body of a far-north Queensland man has been found in an overturned vehicle on an isolated road.
The body of a far-north Queensland man has been discovered in an overturned car following what investigators believe was a single vehicle crash.
The 73-year-old man from Georgetown, five hours west of Townsville, was discovered by passers by in a Nissan Patrol along Forsayth Rd just after 10am on Wednesday.

The man was the only occupant of the vehicle, declared dead at the scene along what is an isolated, narrow stretch of road.
Investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit have initially declared the vehicle left the road and rolled onto its roof.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing and Queensland Police have appealed for anyone with information or witnessed the car in the lead up to the crash.
