Man injured, street closed after Woolloongabba accident

A man has been injured and a major Brisbane road shut down after a car overturned in an early-morning crash.

A car has overturned on a busy Brisbane road blocking all lanes, forcing the road to shut with motorists being warned to avoid the area.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Stanley St at Woolloongabba about 7.30am on Monday.

All lanes were blocked on Stanley St with part of Main St also closed. Diversions are in place with motorists being told to avoid the area.

A man was assessed with minor injuries by paramedics and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
