While property records do not list the Riparian Plaza pad in the Federal Member for Dickson’s name, the Courier Mail can reveal that the senior politician sold the plush penthouse in October for $3.47 million.
Earlier this year, news reports revealed that Mr Dutton had purchased the apartment from Toowoomba identity John Wagner for $2.7 million in 2021.
That means Mr Dutton has pocketed a cool profit of $770,000 in about 12 months.
Mr Dutton’s Register of Members’ Interests lists a Brisbane CBD property as a “residential investment”.
The penthouse was marketed and sold by Place New Farm agent Alex Rutherford.

Ms Rutherford declined to comment on the buyer or seller, other than to say the buyer was Queensland-based.
“There was lots of interest in the penthouse, which sold within four days of hitting it the market,” she said.
“There was one offer but there was others booked to look at it who were just pipped at the post.
“We are so excited for the owners.”
The 376sq m penthouse has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and parking for three cars.
It has spectacular views of the city and river, and has access to the complex’s resort-style
facilities, including the infinity pool, a spa, a sauna, gym and grand lobby.
The apartment itself has an open-plan living and dining area with a neutral colour palette, a timber feature wall and built-in shelving.
There is a galley-style kitchen, a large balcony and a avish master suite with a private balcony, a full-wall built-in robe and a luxe ensuite.
There is also two other ensuited bedrooms.
Mr Dutton also owns a farm outside of Brisbane and has had an extensive property portfolio in recent years, but has sold up much of his holdings.
