A WOMAN was kicked and robbed, a teenage girl assaulted and two businesses broken into in a series of violent incidents on Brisbane’s north last night.

Police believe the violent and brazen acts are connected and have released images of two men they are hunting.

The string of incidents began at 8.20pm when two men walked into the North Lakes tavern. One man went behind the counter and kicked the female employee and demanded money.

When the men couldn’t open the cash register, the pair stole jewellery and a mobile phone from the 22-year-old, who was bruised as a result from the kick, police alleged.

The pair ran out of the tavern with one of them grabbing and stealing a handbag belonging to a female diner.

Once they were outside, they ran past a bus stop where two 16-year-old girls were waiting. One of the men struck a girls in the face before stealing her mobile phone. She wasn’t seriously injured.

Police believe all the incidents are connected.

The pizza outlet, on Old Gympie Rd, Kallangur, was also entered through a smashed glass door. Food and drink were the only things taken.

A stolen red 1998 Honda CR-V with Queensland registration plates 824WHJ is believed to have been seen at all three locations. Police believe this vehicle was being driven by a third person.

One of the two men from the tavern robbery is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 180cms tall with a solid build.
