Teen left with life threatening stab wounds after altercation at party in Morayfield
An offender remains on the run after a 16-year-old boy was left with multiple stab wounds after an altercation at a party.
A major manhunt is underway after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed during an altercation at a house party north of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to a unit complex along Firetail Court in Morayfield about 12.15am on Saturday following reports of a disturbance involving multiple people.
Paramedics arrived to find the teenager with “significant life threatening” stab wounds to his chest and stomach.
He was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by critical care paramedics.
The offender, who reportedly arrived at the home some time into the gathering, fled the scene before police arrived.
A 21-year-old man was taken to Caboolture Hospital with head wounds and a 19-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Paramedics also assessed two other patients at the scene who sustained minor injuries in the alteration. They did not require hospitalisation.
Police are urging anyone with information or relevant footage to come forward.
