Teen girls allegedly threatened to cut off a 15-year-old girl’s fingers during Gold Coast attack
THREE teens appeared in court yesterday charged after allegedly kicking and punching another teenager and threatening to cut her fingers off.
THREE teenage girls threatened to cut off a 15-year-old girl’s fingers and make her walk home naked after she was repeatedly kicked and punched in the face, a court will be told.
The three appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court yesterday charged with robbery with violence in company and deprivation of liberty after allegedly holding the teen against her will in a Broadbeach unit at 6pm on Wednesday.
Police are expected to allege the 15-year-old arrived at the Gold Coast Highway unit complex after being lured by the other teenagers through a Facebook message.
Police will tell the court the victim was allegedly told to take off her shoes, bag, jumper and pants before being told by the same girl who kneed her in the head to “walk home in her bra and undies”.
Police will allege one of the girls then told the victim, “I torture people for a living. You know what I do to people”, before telling her she would cut off her fingers so no one would ever marry her. The girl then allegedly had a kitchen knife placed over her fingers.
The court will be told the victim was then told by one of the teens they would put a “bullet” through her head if she went to the police.
The entire incident was allegedly filmed by the teenagers on a mobile phone.
Police are expected to tell the court the teenager was allegedly lured into a bedroom before being repeatedly kneed and kicked in the head by one of the girls.
The victim’s head was also allegedly pushed into a wall multiple times before an adult male intervened and told the teenagers to let the girl go.
The young girl suffered a black eye, had a lump on the right side of her head and was allegedly holding her left arm at a right angle when she arrived at a police station. She was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
The young woman was forced to catch public transport to a police station after failingto seek help at a nearby convenience store.
Police later found the juveniles at a nearby park.
All three teenagers did not apply for bail yesterday and will appear in court again next Wednesday.
