Queensland Police investigate alleged stabbing in Fortitude Valley
Police are searching three teenage girls who could help in their investigation into the alleged stabbing.
A teenage girl is fighting for life after she was allegedly stabbed following an incident involving three other girls, who remain on the run.
Emergency services were called to Alfred St in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley about 1.30pm Monday following reports of the alleged assault.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed the teen was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a life-threatening condition and being treated for back injuries.
Police believe the group of girls are known to each other.
A crime scene has also been declared, as police continue to search for the other three girls who they believe were allegedly involved in the incident.
