Queensland Police find 100 illicit photos and videos of women in Sunshine Coast change rooms
ONE hundred illicit photos and videos of women undressing in change rooms in shopping centres have allegedly been found on a man’s mobile phone.
MORE than 100 illicit photos and videos of women getting undressed in Sunshine Coast changing rooms have been seized from a mobile phone by Queensland police.
A 28-year-old British national was yesterday arrested after he was caught allegedly filming a woman in the changing room of a beachwear store at Noosa Civic shopping centre around 1.30pm.
Police allege the man entered the changing room and put his mobile phone over the top to take photos of a woman changing.
The woman then alerted staff who called police.
More than 100 photos and videos “depicting many different women in various stages of undress” were found on the man’s phone, according to Queensland Police.
“Many of the photographs appear to have been uploaded to a private Facebook account,” a QPS spokesperson said.
Women who have used change rooms in either Noosa Civic or Sunshine Plaza between November 18 and December 10 are being asked to come forward to assist with investigations.
The 28-year-old man has been charged with 54 counts of recording in breach of privacy and is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court today.
