Queensland anaesthetist charged after allegedly inappropriately touching, photographing unconscious patients
Police have charged an anaesthetist they allege inappropriately touched and photographed his unconscious female patients.
A Queensland anaesthetist has been accused of inappropriately touching and photographing female patients without their knowledge.
Queensland Police allege three women aged in their 20s were victimised by the medical specialist while they were unconscious.
The alleged incidents occurred between November 2020 and February this year, while the man worked as a Toowoomba-based anaesthetist, detectives said.
The 59-year-old Mount Ommaney man was charged with three counts each of sexual assault and recordings in breach of privacy.
He is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on August 10.
