A man is in hospital after a police shooting incident in a major regional city.
A man is in hospital in a serious condition after a police shooting incident in a major regional city.
The shooting happened at a residential address in Toowoomba, about 130km west of Brisbane, about 5pm on Monday.
A Queensland Police spokesman told NewsWire a crime scene had been established and investigations into the shooting are “ongoing”.
It is understood the man was armed with a knife.
The shooting happened on Ruthven St in North Toowoomba.
Paramedics took the man to hospital for further treatment.
