Police are investigating a group of children allegedly crashing two luxury cars before fleeing in another stolen vehicle.

Dashcam footage has captured the moment a group of children allegedly crashed two stolen cars before fleeing in another stolen vehicle north of Brisbane.

Police Sergeant Dave Everding confirmed officers were investigating after the footage was uploaded to the Facebook page Dash Cam Owners Australia.

The alleged incident is understood to have occurred at a busy intersection in Chermside on Tuesday morning.

The footage depicts the two cars colliding before being abandoned in the middle of the lane.

About eight children can be seen fleeing into another white vehicle before it speeds off.

No one has been arrested or charged.

The Courier Mail reports the three vehicles – a Toyota Camry and two luxury 4WDs – were reported stolen from Newport, Mango Hill and Clayfield.
