The Illicit Laboratory Investigation Team (ILIT) from State Crime Command attended and are assisting with investigations.
Police are appealing for anyone that may have information which could assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.
No one has been charged as yet and investigations are continuing.
EARLIER: Two men that were assisting police with inquiries after a brutal stabbing at Palm Beach overnight have been released without charge.
Forensic officers remain at the Tahiti Ave home this morning, which is still a crime scene.
Neighbours say they’re shocked to have something like this happen in their quiet neighbourhood.
One man, who did not want to be named, said he heard shouting and screaming before emergency vehicles arrived.
A 38-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after being found covered in blood, with multiple stab wounds at a Gold Coast bus stop last night.
The man suffered chest and arms injuries after an alleged altercation at a nearby property occurred.
Emergency services were called to Tahiti Ave, Palm Beach at 8.45pm.
Gold Coast police established a large crime scene and officers combed the area for evidence.
Two men are helping police with their inquiries.
They were taken to the Southport Watchhouse after officers spoke with them at the home.
No charges have been laid yet.
Investigations are continuing.
