A BABY was reportedly inside a Queensland house when a fight erupted between two men, leaving one with serious stab wounds.
A fight broke out between a 40-year-old man and another aged 29 shortly after midday on Monday at a house in Booval, in Ipswich’s east.
The Queensland Times reported a baby could be heard crying inside the house and police were seen taking nappies inside.
The 29-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds, according to the Queensland Ambulance Service, and has been rushed to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.
The 40-year-old man suffered cuts to his head and hand and was take to Ipswich Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

A woman at the scene, aged in her 30s, also suffered a cut to the hand but did not require immediate hospital treatment.
A crime scene has been established as police investigate.
