Baby held hostage in Logan home
POLICE have stormed a Logan home where a man, feared to be armed with a knife, was holding a child hostage.
A BABY being held hostage by a man in a Logan home has been released following police intervention.
Heavily armed police swarmed the house where a man was holding the child hostage while possibly armed with a knife.

Officers were called to the Barossa St address following reports of a disturbance between a man and a woman around 5am this morning.
An exclusion zone has been established around the property and police negotiators are on scene.

The man is believed to be in his 40s, and the woman, who is known to him, has been speaking with police.
