A woman in Doolandella, Brisbane, was sexually assaulted in her home
A BRISBANE woman woke to find an intruder had crept into her home and was in her bedroom sexually assaulting her.
POLICE are hunting an intruder with “weathered features” who crept into a Brisbane home and sexually assaulted a woman as she slept.
The 55-year-old woke to find the man “touching her inappropriately” and began screaming, police said.
The intruder ran away from the suburban Doolandella home on foot before a car was heard quickly leaving the area.
It’s believed the intruder entered the Numbat Place home about 1.15am and went into a bedroom where the 55-year-old woman was sleeping.
The woman was not physically injured.
The intruder is described as caucasian in appearance, around 40-years-old with blonde hair, weathered features and was wearing a blue shirt.
