TWO 16-year-old boys have been charged with attempted armed robbery following an incident at a Burleigh Waters adult store last night.

Police will allege two teens, one armed with a baton, entered the Reedy Creek business around 11.20pm and demanded cash.

They threatened a 26-year-old male employee, striking out at him with a baton.

The man dodged the baton strike before the two Varsity Lakes teens damaged property in the store and fled the scene.

A dog squad officer and his police dog, responding to the incident, quickly located a track and followed it to a nearby skate park where the youths were located.
