A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged with attempted murder over the alleged stabbing of a Queensland couple in their bedroom on Boxing Day.
A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged with attempted murder over the alleged stabbing of a Rockhampton couple in their bedroom on Boxing Day.
A 46-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were allegedly stabbed at the home on Bank St, Park Avenue, about 1am.
The woman was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The man was allegedly stabbed in his chest and leg and is in a stable condition in the same hospital.
The teenage girl has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, after her charges were upgraded from grievous bodily harm and unlawful wounding.
Police have confirmed the girl and the victims are known to each other.
