A couple charged with the murder of their infant son, who was allegedly found with “significant” injuries, have answered to their charges at court.

A woman charged alongside her husband with the murder of her infant son, who was allegedly found with “significant” injuries, has chosen not to enter a plea at court.

Noemi Kondacs and her husband, Reinhardt Albert Bosch, have been in custody on remand since 2022 over the death of their infant son, Rhuan, in Yugar, north of Brisbane.

The child was found deceased at the couple’s home on Mount Samson Rd on November 3 that year.

Police claim the couple prayed over Rhuan’s injured body before phoning an ambulance on the day of his alleged murder.

It is further alleged Rhuan had “visible” injuries when police discovered the “confronting” scene.

During a joint arraignment at Brisbane Supreme Court on Thursday, Mr Bosch entered pleas of not guilty to murder and a charge of torture.

The second charge relates to allegations he tortured Rhuan on diverse dates between April 11 and November 3, 2022.

Ms Kondacs, dressed in a white blouse with a floral pattern, is facing charges of murder and failing to supply the necessities of life.

Asked if she wished to enter a plea, she told the court: “I choose not to enter a plea.”

Supreme Court Justice Peter Callaghan entered pleas of not guilty on her behalf.

The court was told 10 days would be set aside for a trial in the Supreme Court in September.

Both Mr Bosch and Ms Kondacs were remanded in custody.

A further review date, to be held by the trial judge, will be held on a date to be determined, Justice Callaghan said.

The pleas follow bizarre appearances before the Supreme Court where Ms Kondacs, from Stuttgart in Germany, refused to seek legal representation.

During a previous appearance in April 2024, Justice Callaghan urged Ms Kondacs to consider seeking legal advice.

Justice Callaghan asked: “I’m intrigued … because for a charge of this seriousness I wonder why you wouldn’t get legal advice?”

Ms Kondacs declined and told the court: “I just trust in the Lord to give me the words to say.”
