Police release CCTV after alleged attempted child abuduction at store

Police have released CCTV footage of a man allegedly guiding a four-year-old boy away from his mum at a store in Queensland.

Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to after a child was allegedly lured away from his mother at a grocery store in Queensland.

The four-year-old boy was allegedly led away from his mother by a man at a store inside Saigon Plaza, in Inala, on Friday.

In CCTV footage a man can be seen guiding the boy away before the boy’s mother realises what is going on and grabs his shoulder.

Queensland Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to

“The boy and his mother were walking through an Inala Avenue shopping centre before a man allegedly approached him from behind and attempted to guide him away from his mother,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward and have released images of a man they would like to speak to.
