ROD Culleton’s political career is under a cloud. But the One Nation Senator doesn’t appear worried, after he randomly turned up to the wrong Question Time.
Senator Culleton was politely escorted out of the House of Representatives today, where Shadow Attorney General Mark Dreyfus came over to have a chat.
The pair were in the visitors’ seating area before he left the lower house to quickly and run to the Senate to vote on the controversial backpacker tax.
It’s unclear what the WA senator was doing — was he lost, was he was checking to see if the benches were more comfortable in the lower house - but Culleton decided to attend the House of Representatives’ Question Time today.
Culleton should have been on the other side of Parliament in the Senate Question Time.
When asked why he was in the wrong house he told the media:
Questioned why he ventured into House of Reps QT today, @SenatorCulleton says "it was the red fox in the chook yard"

It’s the latest in a string of headline-grabbing moments for the embattled senator this week.
On Monday, it was his performance in the Court of Disputed Returns, which will judge whether he was actually eligible to be elected on July 2 because of a larceny conviction at the time.
On Tuesday, he was referred to Queensland police over allegedly attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Then on Wednesday it was the very public battle with his party leader Pauline Hanson.
Culleton denied he would leave One Nation after the stoush, declaring “everything’s fine” after the pair finally managed to meet.
But the question remains ‘What will Culleton do next?’
