Sydney’s Royal Easter Show is back from April 6 to 17 with a bumper year of events planned.

The show has been an Easter staple since it was first held 200 years ago and has grown to one of the biggest events of the year.

From adrenaline pumping rides, stadium performances, mouth-watering food, and activities for the whole family, it’s an event you can’t miss and The Daily Telegraph has all the information you need to make sure you have your best experience yet.

WHEN DOES THE EASTER SHOW START?

Sydney’s Royal Easter Show will run from April 6 to April 17, 2023.

WHAT HOURS IS THE EASTER SHOW OPEN?

The Easter Show’s main gate on Olympic Boulevard lets patrons in from 8.30am and closes at 9pm.

The Plaza entry gate (near P1 carpark) open from 8.30am and closes at 8.30pm.

The Showbag Pavilion is open between 9.30am and 9.30pm.

HOW TO GET TO THE EASTER SHOW

Show goers are encouraged to take advantage of Sydney’s public transport as transport costs are included in your ticket price. Patrons just need to show their ticket or approved pass to Transport NSW staff when getting on or off the services listed below:

• Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink intercity services;

• Sydney Olympic Park major event buses;

• Regular bus services;

• Sydney ferries services; and

• Light rail services.

DRIVING TO THE EASTER SHOW

Parking at Sydney Olympic Park will be in high demands during the Sydney Royal Easter Show and car parks are likely to reach capacity. So if you want to drive, be sure to pre book. Shuttle buses will run between Dawn Fraser Ave and the P3 and P4 car parks

Pre-booked parking is available until 11.59pm the night before you visit.

HOW TO BUY EASTER SHOW TICKETS

Tickets to the 2023 Show will be mostly sold online and must be purchased for a specific day to manage crowd numbers.

Early bird tickets are available online until 11.59pm on April 5. During the show tickets can be purchased online.

Family tickets: early bird tickets $106; during $126

Adult tickets: early bird tickets $41; during $47

Concession: early bird tickets $30.50; during $36.50

Child (four-fifteen-years old) early bird tickets $25; during $29.50

Person with a disability: early bird tickets $25; during $29.50

Child (zero-three-years-old): free

An Easter Show Classic, the famous show bags are back and in record numbers with 396 on offer there is something for everyone.

All Showbags are $35 and under with 93 of them only $10 or less.

From Chocolate, to gaming, Skincare to sport and everything in between head down the Showbag Pavilion to grab yours.

THRILL SEEKERS WANTED

If you’re looking for that adrenaline rush this Easter Show you’ll want to load up on carnival tickets. The costs are:

Early bird tickets:

• Single credit $1.20

• 30 credits for $35 (save $1.00)

• 60 credits $65 (save $7.00)

• 90 credits $90 (save $13.50)

• 130 credits for $120 (save $36)

Early bird credit packages are on sale until April 5. Show Time Period tickets are on sale April 6 to April 17.

Carnival rides require four or more credits.

If you don’t use all your tickets the value of unused credits will be returned within 12 business days of your application. Please note that the refund application attracts a $2.50 processing fee.
