Premier Daniel Andrews’ Noble Park electorate office targeted by graffiti vandals

Vandals have targeted Daniel Andrews’ electorate office shortly after a damning report into the state’s hotel quarantine system was released.

Daniel Andrews’ electoral office has been targeted by vandals again, with red graffiti saying “murderer” sprayed across the windows.

The graffiti at his Noble Park office also called for Mr Andrews to resign and for there to be a royal commission into the 801 people who died from the state’s fatal second wave of coronavirus.

It comes after Daniel Andrews apologised for the failings of the state’s first hotel quarantine program, saying there would be people “missing from the Christmas table on Friday” as a result of the disastrous scheme.

Vandals have yet again targeted Daniel Andrews’ electorate office in Noble Park.

His apology followed hotel quarantine inquiry findings released on Monday morning.

“I want to apologise to the Victorian community for the very clear errors that were made in this program. I think that the way in which the program was established, it had to be done quickly,” Mr Andrews said.

While retired judge Jennifer Coate’s inquiry found private security guards were the “wrong choice” to monitor returned travellers, it could not trace back the decision to a responsible person or party.

It’s not the first time the Premier’s office has been targeted.

In October the window was smashed with a brick and graffitied with the words, “sack Dan”.

While the word “tyrant” was also graffitied on his office window in September.
