NSW Police appeal to identify men after alleged Granville train station brawl

Police have released pictures of two men who “may be able to assist with inquiries” after a 40-year-old man was hospitalised with head injuries following an alleged train station brawl.

Police have released pictures of two men they are seeking to identify after an alleged brawl in Sydney’s west.

The alleged affray took place at Granville Railway Station, to which emergency services were called about 10am on May 25.

A 40-year-old man was taken to Westmead Hospital with head injuries after the incident.

Both men police would like to speak with are described by police as being of Pacific Islander or Maori appearance and in their 20s.

One, who has a medium build, short black hair and a rat’s tail, was wearing a black jumper, North Face vest and white shoes. He was also carrying a black Adidas bum bag.

The other man, who was slightly taller, wore a maroon Adidas hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes. He was carrying a grey shoulder bag.

Police said the men “may be able to assist with inquiries” into the alleged brawl.
