Two people have been killed in a horror head-on crash between road trains in regional NSW.
Two truckies have been killed in a horror head-on smash between road trains in the northwest of NSW.
Emergency services rushed to a bridge on the Kamilaroi Highway in Brewarrina, 100km east of Bourke, at 7pm on Saturday after the two trucks collided and burst into flames.
Both drivers died at the scene.
Firefighters worked to control the massive blaze, with it being unknown what the trucks were carrying.
The highway was blocked in both directions on Saturday night.
A report will be prepared for the coroner but police urged anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
