Teenager dies after slipping and falling near McKenzies Lookout, Burrier
A 13-year-old boy has tragically slipped and fallen to his death at a popular NSW lookout in front of three of his friends.
A teenager has died after falling from a cliff on the New South Wales South Coast.
The 13-year-old boy was with three friends when he slipped and fell on Old Burrier Road, near McKenzies Lookout, Burrier, police said.
Emergency services retrieved his body about 2.20pm on Saturday, from the tourist spot close to Nowra, and took him to Shoalhaven Hospital.
Police are investigating the circumstances but say the death is not believed to be suspicious, reported AAP.
Police described the incident to Channel 7 as “misadventure”.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
