Sydney walk-in clinics let you have AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines without making an appointment
Walk-in clinics for coronavirus vaccines have opened up in Sydney – here is a complete list of places you can get jabbed without an appointment.
They’re Sydney’s tickets to freedom – and now coronavirus vaccines are available without the need to make an appointment first.
NSW has begun rolling out walk-in Covid-19 vaccination clinics in Sydney, where people can get jabbed with the AstraZeneca version of the vaccine.
The service is free and so far available in select locations in Sydney’s west and southwest.
Most of the walk-in clinics will accept anyone who is aged over 18.
The exceptions are the ones in Cumberland LGA – located in Merrylands, Guildford and Pemulwuy – which will only administer vaccines to people over 40.
Those specific clinics are also limited to 100 jabs per day.
Getting a vaccine is a reasonable excuse to leave home, even for people who live in suburbs under extra-harsh lockdown rules.
People who experience any kind of flu-like symptoms should not get vaccinated, instead they should get tested for Covid-19 and self-isolate.
That also applies to people who have been listed as a close or casual contact of a coronavirus case.
Apart from the walk-in clinics, coronavirus vaccines are also available by appointment.
