NSW has identified a number of new sites associated with cases of COVID‑19 but officials have pinpointed one key venue of concern.

NSW Health has identified a number of new and updated sites associated with confirmed cases of COVID‑19 but officials have pinpointed one key venue of concern.

The Campsie Centre Shopping Mall was visited by confirmed cases of COVID‑19 and onwards transmission has been detected.

Anyone who attended the mall in Campsie, 4-28 Amy Street, from Wednesday, 14 July to

Saturday 24 July (inclusive), is considered a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days from this day, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health.

A number of other sites in Campsie and Enfield have been identified as close contact venues.

Additional dates and times for previously announced venues of concern have also been revealed. Anyone who attended the Triple 333 Medical Centre in Merrylands, 333 Merrylands Road, on Sunday 18 July, all day, is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.

A number of casual contact sites were also included in the updated list, including a Woolworths in Prospect and Fairfield Heights, Centrelink in Parramatta and an Aldi in Guildford.

Seven more urgent NSW site alerts

NSW Health sent out the alerts on Monday afternoon, warning anyone who had visited the following sites at the times listed were close contacts and needed to get tested and isolate immediately for 14 days, regardless of the result.

NSW recorded 145 cases on Monday, the state’s second worst day of cases in the outbreak despite a month-long lockdown. Ten people have now died.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian had been hoping to see a downturn in cases over the weekend and early this week due to the stricter restrictions introduced a week ago.

Instead, the state’s five-day average rose up to 135 cases on Sunday after there was a record 163 cases on Saturday and 144 cases on Sunday.

NSW Health also added more exposure dates and times to previously added virus hot spots.

Anyone who attended the following venues at the times listed is a close contact and must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.
